The primary goal of the GLobal OBservatory on Ecosystem of Evidence (GLOBEE) is to monitor the needs, publication, and implementation of international standards aimed at improving the generation, synthesis, and translation of evidence into clinical and health policy decisions, as well as into patients' choices.

The key activities of GLOBEE will be as follows:

1. Mapping critical issues that affect the three pillars of the evidence ecosystem (generation, evidence, and translation).
2. Mapping international standards, statements, and tools, including identifying those already available and proposing new ones if needed.
3. Monitoring the implementation of international standards through primary or secondary research studies, institutional reports, and other means.
4. Suggesting updates to international standards.
